Kama Sutra Lovers - Bolivian Bump (Incl. Jerome Pacman Remix) - Glam Disco

Kama Sutra Lovers – Bolivian Bump – Glam Disco

May 5, 2013

Glam Disco returns this May with ‘Bolivian Bump’ by label founders Kama Sutra Lovers, backed with a remix from Jerome Pacman. Kama Sutra Lovers is the collaborative name for Siddhu and Dianna Ayanna, the duo behind the newly launched Glam Disco imprint, a Parisian based label aimed at releasing cutting edge electronic music, with its roots firmly planted in the fashion scene of its hometown, fashion shows and iconography. Here the label pushes forward with its second release, following its debut ‘Metal Dragon’ which picked up support from the likes of Horse Meat Disco, Jori Hulkonnen, Danny Daze, Jacques Renault and Jet Project.

The release kicks off with the ‘Bolivian Bump (Party Mix)’, embracing a classic disco aesthetic with sensual vocals, an 80’s style bass hook and resonant synth flourishes. The sensual vocals further fuel the musicality as subtle evolvements in the melodic elements drive the cut.

Jerome Pacman stamps his signature shuffled house mark on the original, opting for a more direct approach with hooky drums, raw saw waves and subtleties thrown into the depths of the background with the floaty synths tucked away and the vocals used in a more reserved manner.

Closing the release is the ‘Vocal Mix’ of ‘Bolivian Bump’, a twisted acidic workout, featuring whispering vocal lines, fluttering synths and low-slung drums.
